Be a leader
Our immediate goal is to host our hyperlocal Community Catalyst Gathering Series across Alabama, while recruiting passionate climate action leaders. But that’s just the beginning. In the next 3-5 years, we are setting our sights on establishing climate resilience centers—our "pods"—throughout Alabama and the Gulf South.
Imagine vibrant hubs, led by dynamic BIPOC women, sparking community-based climate action and resilience. Through our immersive workshops, activities, and programs, we’ll train pod members to lead transformative efforts in their neighborhoods.
Our pods will take over in hosting our gatherings ensuring they buzz with energy, offering essential community resources, fostering a deep sense of belonging, and promoting social and emotional well-being. They will be the heart of place-making and capacity-building, boosting preparedness and resilience, empowering residents to tackle community challenges, and weaving stronger, more connected communities.
With a focus on community engagement and empowerment, they will consistently invite residents to #ClimbTheBeanstalk with us, building a resilient future, one pod at a time!
